Using cookie cutters as your guide, you’ll create two wool ornaments from start to finish. Choose from a variety of designs including foxes, owls, mushrooms, hedgehogs, and more. Each student can select the designs that inspire them.
Christie will guide you step-by-step through the basics of needle felting, including how to shape wool, blend colors, and safely use felting needles. This simple project is designed specifically for those who have never needle felted before.
All materials are provided. You’ll leave with two finished ornaments and the skills and confidence to continue needle felting on your own.
Ages 12 and up. No experience necessary.
Free, open to the public. The maximum attendance at this event is 12. Contact the library to pre-register. This is a summer reading program activity and program sign up is required.
