Union City’s neighborhoods are invited to unite with thousands of communities nationwide for National Night Out (NNO) – America’s Night Out Against Crime on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
This annual event strengthens police-community partnerships, promotes crime, drug, and violence prevention, and fosters neighborhood unity. Sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch, NNO now includes over 38.5 million people and 16,500 communities across the U.S., Canada, and military bases worldwide.
National Night Out Aims to:
✅ Raise awareness about crime and drug prevention
✅ Encourage local participation in anti-crime initiatives
✅ Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community
relationships
✅ Send a message to criminals that our neighborhoods are united and standing strong

This year, the Union City Police Department will host a centralized celebration at UCPD / City Hall Parking Lot, featuring:
