Hands-on Mushroom Cultivation Workshop: Shiitake & Oyster Mushrooms
Join us for an exciting, hands-on workshop led by expert grower and forager Rodney Webb of Appalachia Fungorum (and Asheville Mushroom Club Foray Leader)!
🍄 What We’ll Do:
Learn the best practices for cultivating two gourmet favorites: Shiitake and Oyster mushrooms.
Get your hands dirty inoculating a hardwood log with Shiitake mycelium to take home. Your log can produce mushrooms for many seasons!
Construct a fast-fruiting Oyster mushroom straw bag to grow in your own space.
Rodney will share his extensive knowledge on sourcing materials, troubleshooting, and enjoying your fungal harvest.
