Kick off the Vermont racing season the right way—with a little mud, a lot of hills, and plenty of maple spirit.
The GMAA Sap Run is a beloved spring tradition in Westford. This certified 10K out-and-back course takes you through the scenic, rolling, and often "perfectly muddy" country roads of rural Vermont. Whether you’re chasing a PR on the hills or just looking to shake off the winter rust with the local running community, this is the race for you.
Why Join the Race?
The Course: A challenging, hilly 10K on Brookside and Pettingill Roads. It is classic Vermont dirt-road running at its finest.
The Rewards: Prizes for top finishers across categories and plenty of random drawing giveaways for participants.
Post-Race Community: Stick around for refreshments after the race and celebrate your finish with the local running community.
Tradition: Be a part of the 45th running of this iconic Green Mountain Athletic Association event.
