On Saturday September 6th many area churches will host RISE UP #5, from 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM, RAIN OR SHINE, at 1532 Covered Bridge Road outside of Unadilla (venue name: The Pines at Covered Bridge Gardens, physically located in the Town of Sidney).
RISE UP is an annual family oriented festival to celebrate our faith, our community, and coming together. FREE ADMISSION!
This family festival will have free food (until 6:30), activities for kids, a prayer tent, preaching, testimonies, and live music/performances from various church bands/praise teams.
In addition the event will culminate with a free concert featuring a nationally known musical group: Lady Peachena and the Late Show's Gospel Choir!
This family festival includes participation and sponsorship by several area churches from various Christian denominations, and some that are non-denominational. The event is also made possible through generous donations from area businesses and organizations.
You, your friends, and family are invited to come together to strengthen our friendships, our communities, to pray, to laugh, to sing, to be inspired, and to spread the love of God in Jesus Christ. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. Everyone is welcome!
