Looking for something fun for the kids this Spring Break? ? Join us for four days of fishing, learning, and pondside adventures at Fountain Pond in the McNary Wildlife Nature Area!
From March 23–26, 10 AM–2 PM, campers will learn the basics of fishing, knot tying, and water safety — plus take part in casting contests, mini-tournaments, and outdoor games.
We’ll provide all the gear, snacks, and water — just bring your lunch and get ready to reel in the fun! ?

¡Lanza tu caña y diviértete estas vacaciones de primavera!
Prepárate para cuatro días inolvidables de aventura al aire libre en nuestro Campamento de Pesca en Fountain Pond, dentro del Área Natural de Vida Silvestre McNary — ¡perfecto para principiantes y jóvenes pescadores de todos los niveles! Cada día ofrece una combinación de pesca práctica, desafíos amistosos y divertidas oportunidades de aprendizaje.
Los campistas aprenderán los conceptos esenciales de la pesca y la seguridad mediante lecciones cortas y dinámicas sobre seguridad en el agua, cómo hacer nudos, pesca responsable con devolución y cuidado del medio ambiente. Luego pondrán en práctica lo aprendido con concursos de lanzamiento, mini torneos y juegos temáticos de pesca que mantendrán a todos enganchados.
Proporcionaremos todo el equipo de pesca — cañas, carretes, anzuelos y carnada — pero los participantes pueden traer el suyo si lo prefieren. Se ofrecerán refrigerios y agua cada día, y los campistas deben llevar su propio almuerzo.
