In 2023, the Istria Gran Fondo became an officially recognized event under the leadership of the UCI-World Cycling Organization. This means that this popular cycling event is held in accordance with the standards and rules of the UCI and will attract an even greater number of cyclists and lovers of this sport to the region of Istria.
