Bark Peelers' Festival

It's our BIGGEST event and this year marks our 50th anniversary of festival fun for the whole family!

Experience the courageous yet reckless spirt of PA's lumbering past with special activities and demonstrations that celebrate “woodhick” skills. Enjoy unique food and craft vendors who provide ample shopping and culinary opportunities. Enter our log rolling, birling, greased poll, and crosscut saw contests to see if you can earn the title “Grand Champion Barkpeeler”

Watch demonstrations of our steam-powered circular sawmill and birch still, blacksmithing, chainsaw carving, lumber camp cooking, and Eastern Loggers Model Railroad display.
