The art of communication

Clear, thoughtful communication is the foundation of a healthy workplace — both in how we interact with others and how we talk to ourselves.
In this interactive 3-hour workshop, we will explore the four types of workplace communication and strengthen skills such as active listening, reflective listening, and giving and receiving feedback.
We will also focus on cultivating self-compassion, recognising that the way we communicate internally impacts our external relationships.
Through practical activities, self-reflection, and shared learning, participants will build a personal toolkit to support more mindful and compassionate communication every day.

By the end of the 3-hour workshop participants will have:
# Built on their existing knowledge and skills about effective workplace communication, including verbal, nonverbal, written, and visual styles;
# Unpacked the impact of internal self-talk and developed personalised self-compassion strategies to support emotional well-being and professional resilience;
# Explored, identified, and integrated key techniques for communicating with care, including active listening, open questions, use of silence, and constructive feedback.
