Live at the Wharf in conjunction with the North-West Musicians Club are stoked to invite musos (and music lovers) to another fun Jam at the Wharf!
This event will be run in the NWMC's ever popular 'random draw' Jam Sandwich format and is open to musos of all abilities, ages and musical styles.
For those who haven't attended one of the NWMC Jams.....
** How a Jam Sandwich runs:
- Each Jammer fills in a simple Rego Form, either prior to the night via the online Pre Registration form here...
https://forms.gle/5QcaqWcvPrsQzkA46 or as a paper Rego Form when they rock up at the Door on the night.
- On the Rego Form, we ask for your Name and 'main' musical talent / instrument, along with any other instrument/s that you would be happy to 'sit in' on, for a jam.
- Jammers' names are then drawn out to create random 4 or 5 piece bands.
- Subsequent bands are announced progressively throughout the evening.
- Each new 'band' will have time to get together to agree on and quickly work up three (3) songs. Then just tune up your instruments (with a TUNER!!) and hit the stage to perform your fresh musical masterpieces to the adoring crowd!....
- The first band on the night will be created from Pre Registered Jammers and will need to be ready to grace the stage and kick away the entertainment at 5:30pm sharp
** Jammer Info:
- Musos of all abilities are welcome and it is the hope to get everyone who registers, playing at some stage throughout the evening.
- Due to limited time, we will need to limit the number of performers / bands to ensure we finished on time at 7:30pm
- Pre Register if you can, to avoid missing out on a spot. Form here:
https://forms.gle/5QcaqWcvPrsQzkA46
- Walk ups on night are very welcome, but we do have limited places and time.
- We will try our best to make sure the work/fun is shared evenly amongst all the Jammers.
- Depending on numbers, we may need to 'recycle' some Jammers throughout the night.
- PA and quality backline - drums, bass amp, guitar amps and DI's for acoustics are all provided.
- As a COVID precaution BYO Mic if you choose to do so..
- BYO instrument/s AND TUNER. Keep your stage rig simple and use the provided gear wherever possible, for quick movement of jammers on and off stage to ensure we use all the available time effectively!
- Entry for Jammers + one (Roady / significant other) is free.
- Normal L@tW $5 entry per person applies for general punters
** General Info:
- Doors open at 5pm, Show time 5.30pm sharp!
- The Gnomon Pavilion is a licensed venue, BYO alcohol not permitted.
- BYO nibbles are permitted.
