The Temazcal (Sweatlodge) is an ancestral Ceremony that connects us with the cycles of nature and the elements that make up life (air, earth, fire, water, and ether).
Simply explained, it is like a ritual sauna, divided into four stages (four doors), which represent different energetic archetypes. In each stage, we sing and give thanks for becoming conscious of the nature that we are.
In the Temazcal, we come to remember all the wisdom and love that we already are.
The three ceremonies that will take place at Yogabarn are 100% solidarity-based, with all proceeds donated to social organizations that support those most in need in Bali.
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Diego Arnold originally from Argentina, has been walking the Temazcal path for over 25 years. For the past 11 years, he has been facilitating Temazcales between Barcelona, India, and Bali.
Rooted in the Toltec tradition, his Temazcales open to the chanting of medicine songs and mantras,a journey to the center of the heart, inviting participants to release everything that no longer serves, everything that is excess, and to lovingly embrace the medicine of heat in order to remember the nature that we are.
Beyond Temazcales, Diego also organizes fasting retreats and shares the practice of Sungazing at festivals and retreats.
In these three solidarity ceremonies at Yogabarn, he will have the honor of being assisted by two fire keepers: Amadis Phoenix and Sunkku Nina, a true guarantee of love and service.
