Introduction to Shadow Work
A Weekly Foundational Workshop Based on the Teachings of Carl Jung
Every Thursday | 9 am- 12 noon | Samyama Self-Healing Center
“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” – Carl Jung
Join us for this weekly 3-hour workshop designed to introduce the foundational principles and experiential practices of shadow work. Each Thursday session is an invitation to meet the parts of yourself that have been hidden, denied, or suppressed—and begin the journey back to emotional wholeness.
Led by Board-Certified Hypnotherapist and Master Shadow Work Facilitator Norma Cohn, this workshop blends depth psychology, somatic practices, and guided inner journeys.
🔍 What This Workshop Covers:
An introduction to Carl Jung’s map of the psyche: ego, persona, shadow, anima/animus, and the Self
Understanding how and why the shadow forms
A powerful guided shadow visualization to meet a hidden part of you
Exploration of Jungian shadow archetypes and how they show up in daily life
A safe space to reflect, share, and begin integrating
Each session also includes a brief preview of Sunday’s 6-hour immersive workshop, which offers a deeper dive into a different theme each week (e.g., People-Pleasing, Fear of Commitment, Power Dynamics, etc.).
This Introduction Is Perfect For You If:
You are new to shadow work or Jungian psychology
You want to understand your emotional patterns and inner parts
