We are honored to host psychologist and author Dr. Miles Neale for a special evening, where he will introduce his new book, Return with Elixir: Four Maps for the Soul’s Pilgrimage through Death and Rebirth.
In this talk, Miles presents his synthesis of mythology, psychology, alchemy, and cosmology—showing how each of these maps offers practical tools for transforming trial into treasure. He will situate our present civilizational collapse within the Vedic Yuga
cycle, and draw on Joseph Campbell’s heroic narrative, Carl Jung’s shadow work, and Tibetan Buddhist visualizations as methods for turning adversity into spiritual advantage and collective renewal.
The evening is free and open to all, offering a rare opportunity to engage deeply with multiple esoteric traditions that seek to draw meaning and purpose out of chaos. Books will be available for purchase and signing, and each participant will receive a free
companion workbook.
About Dr. Miles Neale:
Dr. Miles Neale is a psychotherapist, author, and teacher of Tibetan Buddhism, known for bridging Eastern spirituality with Western psychology. Founder of the Gradual Path, he is the author of Gradual Awakening and co-editor of Advances in Contemplative Psychotherapy.
His forthcoming book, Return with Elixir (Inner Traditions, 2025), weaves together Joseph Campbell’s mythology, Jungian psychology, Tibetan Buddhist alchemy, and cosmic cycles.
With over 25 years of practice, Miles has taught at Harvard, Columbia, and Cornell, led the Contemplative Studies Immersion Program, and guided global pilgrimages to sacred sites. He divides his time between New York City and Bali.
