In “Invitation to Tao Te Ching,” we will explore Lao Tzu and the essence of Taoism.
This session will clarify concepts that are often considered difficult when first encountering Taoist philosophy— such as the relationship between Non-Being (Wu) and Being (You), the true meaning of Wu-Wei (non-action),and the seemingly paradoxical ideas that lie at the heart of Taoism.
We will also look into the relationship between consciousness and the Tao, as well as how Virtue (Te) and governance or leadership are understood from the Taoist perspective.
Finally, we will reflect on what “Wu-Wei Ziran” (effortless naturalness) truly means in both philosophy and daily life.
