The healing power of story is experienced best when we have time and space to relax and receive. Everything about this retreat is designed so that you receive the messages you need, the rest you need and an experience of the collective healing possible in the storytelling event.

A Winter's Tale is an epic story that allows us to meet the essence of winter: a time to tend to our inner life and awaken our connection with mystery. In each session you will hear told a section of the epic.

The retreat also invites you to explore and presence the themes appearing in the story through embodied slow awareness movement, the seven ways of listening, guided meditations, creative writing, conversation and silence, inside and out in the spectacular landscape surrounding Gaiasenter.

Angela Halvorsen Bogo began training for her calling in 1972 with improvised theatre. After Circus School, she met and apprenticed in the Scottish indigenous storytelling tradition of the Scottish Travellers. She later spent six years in a Celtic inspired monastery doing inner work, building a nationwide storytelling community, creating storytelling apprenticeships and festivals. She is trained in Social Presencing Theatre a model of awareness based systems change. She is a specialised clown for people with dementia and trains others in this art. She has worked with the inner and outer expressions of storytelling, play and song for 35 years.
