Jimmy Nelson

Jimmy Nelson is a Dallas native who swaps his firefighter gear for a mic when the trucks are out of service. A proud dad and devoted dog owner, his comedy comes packed with quick wit, disarming charm, and stories that swing from heartwarming to hilariously dark—sometimes in the same breath. When he’s not on stage, Jimmy co-hosts the podcast Odd Ball History, where his love of storytelling takes a wild dive into the strange, funny, and unbelievable corners of the past.
