Registration for Christmas in the Park begins at 9:00am on Saturday, September 5th and closes at 5:00pm on Monday September 7th. The first 67 participants to register will be eligible for a site. All additional registrants will be added to the waitlist. Christmas in the Park will take place on December 11th and 12th 5:00pm to 9:00pm. For additional information, visit our website to view information about Tyler State Park’s events.  

Christmas in the Park takes place during the second weekend in December - you will be provided free camping and entrance for this event should you secure a spot on the list when registering. Set up is Thursday the 10th and Friday the 11th . All sites must be completely set up and ready by 4pm on the 11th of December. The Trail of Lights event will be open to the public from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on the 11th and 12th of December. All lights must remain on until 10pm. Clean up will be Sunday the 13th. 

 

Registration link will be provided via email, Facebook, and Park Event Page as we get closer to September. The link will not be activated until September 5th at 9AM. If you would like to be emailed, click on the email attached.

Look to the skies with our Park Ranger starting at 6:00 PM (weather permitting).

🛍️ Holiday Shopping
Get 20% off all merchandise at the Silver Canoe Park Store – perfect for last-minute gifts!

💝 Give Back This Season
Admission is free, but we encourage you to bring nonperishable or canned food donations for the East Texas Food Bank.
Help us reach our goal of 2,000 lbs. — last year, we collected 1,200 lbs. thanks to your generosity!

Come experience the wonder of A Piney Woods Christmas!

Celebrate Christmas with us as we turn the Cedar Point, Lakeview, and Big Pine camping loops into a trail of lights. Drive or walk through the loops and see the beautiful light displays made by our campers. Stop by the Silver Canoe Park Store to have some hot cocoa and cookies. Everyone receives a 20% discount for Christmas shopping!

Entrance into the event is free. We welcome you to bring non-perishable food items for our food drive supporting the East Texas Food Bank. Last year we raised over 1,600 lbs of food, thanks to you!
