You’re invited to the 31st East Texas Archaeological Conference, taking place on February 28, 2026, at the University of Texas at Tyler.
Hosted annually, the conference brings together researchers, students, professionals, and community members who share an interest in the archaeology and cultural heritage of East Texas.
LOCATION: Main Lobby and other rooms in the Soules College of Business at UT Tyler.
HOURS: 9 AM until 4 PM. Registration begins at 8:30 AM.
FEE: $20 which includes lunch.

CALL FOR PAPERS
We are now accepting submissions for research-based paper presentations for the 2026 ETAC. Topics should be related to the prehistoric and historic archeology of east Texas. Presentations will be 20 minutes long and should present original research. Deadline for submission is December 1, 2025. We ask for a title and a 100-word abstract.
