- **Event Description**: This is a Free Spring Prom specifically for our many special needs children, adults and caregivers of the Tyler Smith and Wood County areas of East Texas. Its being held at the MEETING PLACE EVENT CENTER at 1301 West Erwin Street in downtown Tyler. There will be a live D-Jay playing dance favorites as well as a meal served promptly at 5;30pm. This party is free to all special needs and there is no pre-registration or sign up required. We encourage you to wear your best Sunday go to meeting outfit or dress. All special need attendees will receive a gift bag upon entry, there will be door prizes and dance contests. Toward the evenings end we will crown a Prom King and Queen. If anyone would like to donate old ball gowns for the ladies or suits or Tuxedos for the men we will be accepting those for donation. We will also need your financial support for this event as well.
