On September 11, 2001, when U.S. airspace was suddenly closed, 38 planes carrying thousands of travelers were diverted to the tiny town of Gander, Newfoundland. What began as a day of fear and uncertainty quickly transformed into an extraordinary display of generosity, compassion, and human connection. In a place known as “The Rock,” strangers became neighbors, cultures intertwined, and simple acts of kindness changed lives forever.

Featuring a dynamic ensemble cast, a vibrant score, and storytelling that moves seamlessly between humor and heartbreak, Come From Away reminds us what is possible when we lead with empathy.
