This will be our biggest year yet, with the largest payouts! Sponsored by: Bass Pro Shop, Cape Homes & Bull River Marina Day 1 & Day 2 After Events @ Huc-a-poos Date: Oct 11 & 12th Registration at 6am First Cast at 8am Lines in at 5pm on Oct 11 & 4pm on Oct 12th 1) Live, Frozen & Artificial baits are allowed. Traditional casting only, no kayaks, drones or any launching mechanisms allowed. 2) Location: North Beach, Tybee Island. Registration Tent will be in the North Beach parking lot. Fishing area will start at The North Beach jetties. The end mark will be determined closer to the tournament start date. 3) This is a CPR (catch, photo, release) event so contestants must have their fish measured by an official then safely released 4) Anglers must have current Georgia Saltwater Fishing License 5) Winner is determined by longest Redfish (Tie breaker goes toward the fish with the most spots, second tie breaker goes to the fish that was caught first) We will have official measurers stationed all along the beach to help measure and safely release. 6) 2 Pole Limit. NO EXCEPTIONS. Only 2 rods in the water at anytime. If you have a pole in the water for bait, that counts as one of your two poles. 7) Top 3 adult places receive CASH & PRIZES. 1st place youth entry pays! 8 ) We are recommending no more than 15 feet between rods. Let’s be courteous of each other. 9 ) The fishing boundaries will be clearly marked and announced. Any angler outside of these markers will not be eligible to register any fish that are caught outside the boundary. 10) Participants can arrive as early as they want, but cannot hold spots for others. 11) All participants MUST register at the registration tent, no exceptions as per our permit we must have liability forms signed. Calcutta/Added Entry - Largest Bluefish of Tournament In addition to our regular prize money, any angler registered in the tournament may enter this level for $10.00. 100% of the monies collected will be paid back to the Largest Bluefish in the tournament. Last year's Calcutta winner won $2,000 on his $10 entry. **Must be entered in the redfish tournament to enter!) This is a CPR event so we will recommend that only circle hooks will be allowed if using live or cut bait.
