Original & Time Honored Folk & Blues
I began my musical journey back when I was living on the far west end of Madison Wisconsin. At that time, radio stations weren’t formulaic.  You could hear everyone from the Beatles and Rolling Stones, to James Brown, Simon & Garfunkel, the Supremes, the Spencer Davis Group without once having to flip the dial. Stations were independent and in those days the disc jockeys chose the tunes that they wanted to play. My sister and I used to sit in the kitchen and listen to all the music being broadcast from WISM on our mom’s turquoise AM radio. 

Over time, I learned to play the guitar, started writing songs and started playing in bands.. I’ve played Blues, Rock & Roll and Roots music in ensembles and as a solo artist. I’ve performed across Wisconsin, with quick forays into Indianna, Iowa and Minnesota. 

I’ve been privileged to play in coffee houses, beer halls, outdoor festivals, 
regional theaters and on A Prairie Home Companion. I’ve worked in recording studios on other artist’s projects and on my own material.  About 4 years ago, I moved to the North Shore and I hope to continue the musical adventure here. As the great Michael Hedges once said, “I play the guitar because it lets me dream out loud”.
