Linnet Baroque will be returning to St Mary’s Church, Twickenham

with a programme of sacred songs and cantatas with bass continuo,

showcasing both bass viol & baroque cello with virtuosic obbligato solos .

Elin Harries, soprano, is delighted to be performing alongside Ibrahim Aziz on bass instruments and Asako Ogawa on harpsichord in an intriguing programme which includes one of the first transcriptions of a Hebrew psalm, alongside music from The Harmonia Sacra, a comprehensive collection of English sacred songs from the early 1700's, complimented by instrumental solos.

Featuring music from the Restoration, late Renaissance & Baroque periods, composers include Capricornus, Croft, Purcell,, Monteverdi, Handel, Caporale, Marcello & Bach.
