We hope you can join us to come together and make headways for a big year of restoring local waterways in the Tweed!
Inviting all recreational fishers, locals, river users and stakeholders in the Tweed and surrounding areas to come and have a say in what we’d like to get done in our waterways as a part of the OzFish Tweed Chapter.
We are looking forward to a big 2026. Here’s a sneak peek of what’s on the horizon:
- Trees for Fish: Community tree planting days at great fishing spots throughout the catchment.
- Seagrass monitoring.
- Spring Clean-up event.
- Annual Tilapia Buster Event.
- Pimp My Jetty.
Importantly, this is an excellent opportunity for us to hear YOUR ideas and collaborate with other like-minded community members to discuss how to protect and improve the health of the Tweed River and create improved habitats that create better fishing!
Nibbles will be provided.
