Sedan 2008 har Albatross haft stora sommarfestivaler. Det har varit teater och musik från hela världen. Samtal på alla möjliga språk. Biljetterna har varit slutsålda veckor innan festivalen! Nu har vi en femdagars festival där tre polska teatrar spelar gatuteater, där en kongolesisk poet gör Skandinaviendebut, där vi, Albatross, spelar våra två nya föreställningar ”Mörkret”, och ”Utomhusspektaklet”. Dessutom spelar vi "Skogsorgeln", "1917, när klockorna strannade" och I Skuggan av Hatet växer Blommor". I Polen är Teatr Snów och Teatr Węgajty legendariska utomhusteatrar. Man blandar dramatik o musik, styltor och vackra sceniska konstruktioner. De kommer tillsammans med Joanna Sarnecka, "LifeLocation", som spelar – också utomhus – en butohföreställning om flyktingar från Mellanöstern som blivit låsta på gränsen mellan Belarus och Polen. En stor tragedi i medieskugga. OBS! Dessutom spelar Teater Albatross ”Gatuspektaklet”. ARTISTER som kommer är t ex * Chicco Iceberg, poet från D R Kongo, Albatross träffade honom på turné i Goma, Kongo. * Michele Collins, performanceartist från Göteborg/San Fransisco, spelar om Gertrude Stein, "Portraits and prayers".. Hon har en bakgrund i legendariska Tajphoon Tivoli. Hennes grupp nu heter: The Rosehips, flera duktiga jazzmusikerär med: Jonny Wartel, Henrik Wartel och Georgia Wartel Collins. * David Sperling Bolander, Pan Jal, med Anonym Messias. David är tillbaka på vår festival! Första gångerna vi ordnade festivaler var det till stor del för att vi ville visa Halland och världen Davids exklusiva teaterkonst! * Wojciech Marczak & Vänner. En unik grupp polska skådespelare och musiker som sätter själen i brand! * Räfven, legendarisk klezmerpunk! Gruppen uppstod faktiskt på Tokalynga för många år sedan. Kommer att spela på vackra Dansrotundan i Ätran, precis vid sjön. Några spännande gästmusiker är med. Dessutom kommer Räfven att improvisera till en tyst Albatrossfilm. Det blir en toppkväll! Trum-Trum Ericsson, Harplinge Kvarn, en sann dadaist! Han tar ner solen, han för oss ner i djupet. Han leker med oss! Vida Vojic sjunger - för magins skull! - Spelar på champagneglas. Bland poeter som kommer: * Ingela Strandberg, Bengt Berg, Pamela Jaskoviak, Andreas Chadien. * Från Woodstock kommer Ed Sanders från The Fugs, han deltar via länk. Han kommer att visa sina märkliga hieroglyfer. Ingela Strandberg läser några favoritdikter på engelska för Ed o oss alla. O det blir allsång, Robert kommer att lära dem som vill "I want to know", en sång Ed dedicerat till tokalynga för många år sedan, vi sjunger den nu till Ed! O Chicco Iceberg, Kongo. Förutom poesi och sång. * Magnus Bunnskog, musiker, hade några år i ungdomen på Tokalynga. Välkommen tillbaka! * Maria Legeżyńska orkestrerar köket i år igen. Förra året hördes gäster tala om hennes matlagning som ett konstverk i sig! Dessutom spelar hon fiol som får möbler att dansa! Teater Albatross ger dessutom: Ett föredrag/en performance om D.R. Kongo där poeten Chicco Iceberg deltar, där vi också visar en film, 40 minuter, från när Teater Albatross 2010 turnerade i Kongo och Rwanda, och mötte Iceberg. Carl Johan Kilborn är med, liksom Peter Bengtsson, som filmat! Det blir nån scen ur föreställningen ”KONGO”. INTRESSANTA FÖREDRAG: * Birger Schlaug talar om vår tid. Om pacifism, om den ständiga tillväxtens vanvett. * Olle Jonasson, häktespastor, känd från t ex Skavlan talar om ungdomsfängelser och SiS-hem. * Marika Lagercrantz talar om folkrörelser, om fredsrörelsen, om svensk 1900-talshistoria. * Johan Anderberg, författare, värnar det mänskliga, det långsammas revolt. * Anna E Nachman, frispråkig kvinna från Judiska Församlingen i Stockholm, berättar. Sängplats i delat rum/stuga i vår trädgård: 100 kr per person och natt (först till kvarn gäller) Tokalynga Teaterakademi har flera sovrum med mellan 3-4 sängplatser per rum. Det finns också några små stugor i teaterns stora trädgård med 3-6 sängplatser per stuga. Stugorna har fungerande eluttag, men saknar vatten. Det finns ett utedass i trädgården. Duschrum och fyra toaletter finns i teaterbyggnaden. Wifi finns i teaterbyggnaden. Först till kvarn gäller! 2. Tälta med eget tält: Gratis! Sätt upp ditt/ert tält i teaterns stora trädgård eller på den stora gräsmattan framför bygdegården. Dusch och WC finns i både teaterbyggnaden och i byggdegården. Wifi finns i teaterbyggnaden. 3. Madrass på golvet i bygdegårdens källare: 100 kr/natt. (Bygdegården ligger 200 m från Teatern.) Vad gäller alla boenden: Ta med egna lakan och handduk, tack! Om du har glömt kostar det 150 kr att hyra lakan och handduk av oss. Boende utanför Tokalynga – många fina möjligheter! Vill man ha ett eget rum så har vi många trevliga grannar hyr ut rum och småhus för en mycket billig peng. På detta sätt stöder de festivalen. Teater Albatross has a festival in the summer of 2026! Tokalynga Flying Festival 2026 June 24–28 Street theatre in the forest! Since 2008, Albatross has organized large summer festivals. There has been theatre and music from all over the world. Conversations in all kinds of languages. Tickets have often been sold out weeks before the festival! Now we present a five-day festival where three Polish theatre groups perform street theatre, where a Congolese poet makes his Scandinavian debut, and where we at Teater Albatross perform, among other things, our two new productions “The Darkness” and “The Street Spectacle.” NOTE: All of Albatross spectacles are available with English and Polish subtitles. We will make sure the lectures are available to everyone, perhaps through live translation. Don't worry! Street theatre – far from the noise of the city! Many theatre companies around the world are best known for their outdoor performances. In Poland, Teatr Snów and Teatr Węgajty are legendary outdoor theatre groups. They combine drama and music, stilts and beautiful stage constructions. They will perform together with Joanna Sarnecka, who presents – also outdoors – a performance about refugees from the Middle East who became trapped at the border between Belarus and Poland. A major tragedy largely ignored by the media. Note! Teater Albatross will also perform “The Street Spectacle.” Theatre, art, conversations, poetry and music! There will be poetry, theatre and art from morning until evening. There will even be morning exercise for those who want to join. Everything takes place far out in the countryside, nearly 50 km from Falkenberg. There Albatross has built its centre, Tokalynga Theatre Academy, over the past 39 years. The river Ätran flows past the house, and several lakes lie nearby. In the evenings there is a campfire and a wild, cosmic basement with polish roots. Artists appearing include: Chicco Iceberg – poet from DR Congo. Albatross met him while touring in Goma, Congo. Michelle Collins – performance artist from Gothenburg/San Francisco, performing about Gertrude Stein. David Sperling Bolander – Pan Jal Scenstudio will perform "Anonymous Messias" Wojciech Marczak & Friends – a group of Polish musicians who set the soul on fire! Räfven – legendary folk-punk band! In fact, the group was formed at Tokalynga many years ago. Among the Swedish poets appearing: Ingela Strandberg Bengt Berg Andreas Chadien Magnus Bunnskog, musician, spent several years of his youth at Tokalynga. Welcome back! Maria Legeżyńska will again be orchestrating the kitchen. Last year, people said her cooking was a piece of art in itself. And when she plays the fiddle, even the chairs and tables dance around! There are also small cabins in the large theatre garden with 3–6 beds per cabin. Cabins have electricity but no running water. There is an outhouse toilet in the garden. Showers and three toilets are located in the theatre building, where Wi-Fi is also available. First come, first served. 2. Camping with your own tent Free! Pitch your tent in the theatre garden or on the large field in front of the village hall. Showers and toilets are available in both the theatre building and the village hall.
