Youth will get an up-close look at the voting process during our Future Voter Academy, led by Douglas County Clerk Judi Pollock. 

Participants will learn how elections work, see how voting happens behind the scenes, and then put their new knowledge into action by casting their own vote on a mock issue! 

This is a fun, hands-on opportunity to learn about one of the most important ways citizens make their voices heard. 

All youth are welcome—you do NOT have to be a 4-H member to attend! 

Join us Monday, October 19, from 4–5 p.m. at the Douglas County Courthouse, 401 S. Center St., Tuscola, IL 61953. 

Please pre-register so we can prepare accordingly. Come curious, come ready to participate, and come see democracy in action!
