The Birds, the Bees, and the "Ps"

This workshop is designed for parents and their autistic children and teenagers. Children must be between the ages of 12 and 15 to attend and able to participate in a group setting without significant difficulties. Parents and their children will attend separate groups. Parents will discuss ways to talk to their autistic child or teen about puberty and appropriate behaviors. Children and teens will attend a group where they receive some brief education about puberty and have the opportunity to connect with others who may have similar experiences.
