- **Event Description**: In this beginner friendly workshop, we will be working with Tampico Fiber. Students will learn a foundational hand Broom, then learn how to adorn their Broom with dried florals. This class dives into a delicate and expressive approach to Broom Craft. 

Using homegrown and preserved plants from the RootsStones&Bones gardens, I'll guide you through how to attach and design with these fragile materials, so they hold both beauty and structure. 

I'll also share some of my favorite flowers and plants to grow in your own garden, or forage from the wild spaces of Western Mass, that dry well and lend themselves to this kind of work. 

Whether you gift a seat in the class or come create something special for the woman in your life, this class is designed to create a meaningful Mother's Day experience.

What You’ll Make:
One Floral Tampico Hand Broom
A beautiful tool that reflects your own creativity

What’s Provided:
All tools and materials
Guidance through each step of the process
 
Come Prepared:
Hand strength, upper‑body strength, and dexterity are important for this class
You’ll be working with fiber, sharp tools, and water
Please dress comfortably and appropriately
 
Class Details:
Offered twice in one afternoon: 4pm and 6pm
Class minimum: 10 students
Evening maximum: 20 students
