SEXBLOOD
Sexblood is a gothic rock band from Mulhouse in Alsace - the French Manchester - located in the far east of France, on the border of Germany and Switzerland.
The band is a quatuor made up of
• Sibyl Viola – synth
• Abel De Beauvoir – vocals, guitars
• Tiki St Mille - drums
• Jonathan « Chien Loup » - bass
SEXBLOOD released their 10-track debut album in early May 2022 on the label SWISS DARK NIGHTS (Hapax, Ash Code…)
In May 2024, they released their second album on the same label.
« Teach me to cry » debut album and « Intimidating Visions » second opus received good reviews and are broadcast on
specialized radio, webradio and playlist all over the goth Planet

In January 2023, « Teach me to cry » was ranked among the best goth rock albums of 2022 by :
Edemoniada promotions (Spain),
Blaue Rosen (Germany)
Gav the Gothic Chav (UK).
The band was spotted early on by Necroflesh Events (now Last Rites Agency), a Texas based booking agency who toured it in summer 2023 and 2024.
In January 2024, DJ Jason & DJ Lady Davinia (USA), DJ Jay Sector (USA), Revelation in Black RadioShow (GR), Endemoniada promotions (E), Post Everything (USA) ranked « Intimidating
Visions » among the best goth rock albums of 2023.
SEXBLOOD's music is firmly rooted in the last century. Guitars are widely present. We can feel the vibrations of bands that forged the gothic style : Sisters of Mercy, Siouxsie and the Banshees…
not forgetting the cold wave of the Cure and the saturated guitars of the shoegaze of Jesus and Mary Chain for example.
