Nabors is delighted to be a part of this wonderful event with such lovely musicians! Originally from New Jersey, Amy has called Memphis her home for several years. She recently ended a run of Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd with Playhouse on the Square and Opera Memphis. Other recent roles include Mary Jane Healy in Jagged Little Pill, Grizabella in Cats, and Nellie in South Pacific. She is also a former equity vocalist for Disney World. In addition to her work as a stage and commercial artist, she is a licensed medical speech pathologist who specializes in voice disorders. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management at the University of Memphis, further deepening her commitment to the arts and community development.With a career in professional singing dating back to 2006, Mary Frances has performed with companies such as Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and Matt Davenport Productions. Her vocal training encompasses classical, jazz, musical theatre, and country styles. She brings over 20 years of dance training to her work, and is on the Teaching Artist Roster for the Tennessee & Mississippi Arts Commission. She is also an artist on the Mississippi Artist Roster with her partner, Paul Tate.Her professional career spans both the stage and the arts administration sector. She currently serves as a dance educator at the Germantown Performing Arts Center and as the remote show coordinator for the acclaimed Thacker Mountain Radio. A dedicated performer, Mary Frances also serves as the lead female vocalist for the Yalobushwhackers.
