What begins as a simple act of kindness—bailing Nate out—quickly becomes a life-changing commitment as Mr. Deen helps Nate confront the trauma of his past and overcome the inner struggles threatening his future.

The free screening will be followed by a brief panel discussion featuring the filmmaker, CASA staff, and child advocates. Panelists will explore the film’s themes and discuss the importance of advocacy, mentorship, and community support for children and youth who have experienced trauma.
