Invite them out to play in this hands-on, two-hour creative experience from the EMOSY Community Arts Initiative at Tulsa Stained Glass. We’ll use a variety of fun and creative arts and crafts techniques to encourage your Inner Artist. It’s great for self-care!Inspired by the Word of the Month, the Tulsa Stained Glass Team will lead you through exploring different art forms while using the Five-Step EMOSY Process: EXPLORE • SKETCH • REFINE • DESIGN • SHARE. If you’d like to learn more about this process, it is found in the book Have Fun with Your Inner Artist, available at the studio. This is not about becoming a professional artist or putting pressure on yourself to be perfect. For more than 50 years, Tulsa Stained Glass has watched people who said, “I'm not artistic,” discover the satisfaction of creating something meaningful with their own hands.VISIONS builds upon that experience by encouraging experimentation, discovery, decision-making, and completion. The goal is to help participants become more comfortable exploring ideas, expressing themselves visually, completing projects, sharing stories when they choose, and becoming proud of what they create.Come Explore With UsNo previous artistic or crafting experience is required.Bring your curiosity and your willingness to make something meaningful, have fun and discover what your inner artist has been trying to show you. Then see where your VISIONS take you.Rage Room ExperienceAll classes include Rage Room smashing. A project is called an “Emosy”, which is a creation of meaning using geometric shapes of varied color, shape and size. These entertaining 2-3 hour events are perfect for individuals, groups, date night, ladies' night out, and more. The Rage Room Experience is included in all events; inside glass smashing and outside sledge-hammer raging. In a symbolic gesture, dinnerware or other items are smashed to pieces, representing happiness multiplied or riddance of ill feelings.Hundreds of people around Oklahomahave experienced the awe-inspiring visual demonstration, the memorable fun music, and the unique theatrical storytelling from 50-year stained glass sensation, Richard Bohm. The three hour class is an original event, one of the most interactive and entertaining activities to ever grace the Art Event Center stage. The entire class comes to life when attendees scoop, assemble and solder, to make unique stained glass projects. As the music plays, pride emerges from the depths of indecision to produce a work of art like never before. Everyone is a winner, experiencing the joy of creativity and resulting in artistic self-confidence." } ] } ] ```
