Uncrease is Gilcrease Museum’s FREE community arts series spanning March through May 2026. Featuring 29 artists across 6 dates, the program includes live music, workshops, performances, demonstrations, and lectures, with headlining performances by The Tulsa Opera and Tulsa Symphony Orchestra. This series brings diverse artists and community members together to create, learn, and explore the new Gilcrease Museum building. Registration Required.
Artist Programming Lineup for May 9:
• Tulsa Symphony Orchestra - Music: The Tulsa Symphony Orchestra's Wind Quintet brings a celebration of the breadth of sound and stylistic range of wind instruments to Gilcrease.
• Anitra Lavanhar - Workshop: Discover how to elevate your photography skills using the camera you always have with you - your phone. In this workshop, you'll learn essential techniques to improve your photography and do a photo-walk on the grounds of Gilcrease.
• Ashley Apodaca/Carl Antonowicz - Performance: "Roomboog" - a site-specific audio performance for woodwinds, percussion, and electronics, plus a series of live improvised pieces informed by the particular acoustic qualities of the room.
• Jaslyn Ferguson - Performance: Immerse yourself in Tulsa's history with AR storytelling, quirky legends, and local tales to life for all ages - fun, interactive, unforgettable!
• Bandelier - Performance: A live performance celebrating 15 years with Americana, folk, and Native traditions, featuring Six Stars: Song for the Pawnee and Westhope selections in an intimate musical experience.
• Fiavna Forré - Performance: Live performance tapping.
