Studio Portrait Photography - Tulsa

Take full control of your portrait lighting in a studio environment. Students will review the basics of light quality and learn how to control shadow, shadow edge transfer, specular highlights, and specular edge transfer with studio lighting equipment and modifiers. Learn how to set light ratios and what mood those ratios convey. Commonly used portrait lighting patterns will be demonstrated along with advice on when they are best used. Tonal control of the background, use of hair light and separation lights will also be covered. Student will then have the opportunity to photograph models, putting into practice the techniques just presented.
