Our previous monthly winners, 11 in all, will compete in a friendly competition for the 12th ANNUAL "BEST STORYTELLER IN TULSA". Each storyteller will have 6 minutes to wow the audience with a compelling and interesting true snippet of their lives based on the evening’s theme ~ EXPRESS YOURSELF

A Story Slam is a live storytelling competition organized by Ok, So Tulsa. No notes are allowed and stories must be told, not read. Monthly events are held at Living Arts (usually) on the 2nd Friday of each month and monthly winners compete in the “Grand Slam”. Participants are judged by a panel of writers, literary figures, and other slammers from around Tulsa to determine a winner for 2026. This is the 12th Annual Crowning of Tulsa’s Best Storyteller.
