Dress in Blue Day began with one woman’s story. After being diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer at age 41, Colon Cancer STARS Founder Anita Mitchell Isler started Dress in Blue Day at her children's school to help others understand the importance of symptoms, screening, and early detection.

Today, Dress in Blue Day is observed across the country each March, bringing communities together to raise awareness and save lives.
