Veterinary Discovery Camp '26

TVF's Veterinary Discovery Camp, offered in partnership with the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine, offers an exciting hands-on experience for aspiring animal enthusiasts to explore the world of veterinary sciences. Participants will dive into the daily life of a veterinarian, learning essential skills like translating animal behavior, body condition scoring, and biosecurity practices. Campers will gain insights into animal nutrition, explore anatomy models, and learn the tools of the trade. They'll also participate in hands-on animal caretaking with TVF's herd and hear from professionals about careers in veterinary medicine. This camp blends practical skills with engaging lessons, making it the perfect introduction for aspiring animal caregivers. This camp will be held at the TVF's new Animal Education Center at the Big Farm 2201 E Roger Rd.

Ages: 9 - 13

Time: 8am - 11am

Session I: June 8 - June 13; Cost: $260

Session II: June 29 - July 2nd* (four-day camp week observed July 3rd holiday); Cost: $225

Session III: July 6-10; $260

*Each session teaches the same curriculum, so we discourage students from enrolling in more than one session of the same camp.

*When you are registering please enter the camper's name with the parent/gaurdian information

*Refund Policy: Full refund 30 days before camp start date; 50% refund up to 14 days before camp start date; no refunds thereafter.

*If you register your camper for a spot you will get an email about a week before the first day from the camp coordinator with all of the info you'll need on what to bring and know for camp.

*Sick Policy Guidelines: Tucson Village Farm camps will follow the University of Arizona, CDC, and State of Arizona Guidelines. We ask that you do not send your camper if they have had a fever or symptoms have not improved in the last 24 hours.
