This national holiday honoring these valued members of our community is fairly new (established in 1978) Unfortunately, it is one that is not celebrated as widely as other more commercially popular holidays.  Let's change that!

Young At HeART Together, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit is on it's third year of making this a continuous Tucson celebration!
We value the importance of intergenerational living.

This is also our nonprofit's yearly FUNdraiser! A portion of the ticket sales will be going to our organization. 

Here are some details on our event:

*Tickets will be sold day of by the Savoy Opera House. Grandparents get in FREE.  $10 for ages 1 and up.  Ticket prices include outdoor and indoor amusement and activities. (A portion of the ticket sales will be going to our organization.) 

*You do not need to have a grandparent with you to enjoy the festivities. We will have family fun crafts, games and entertainment for all ages!  (Crafts could be made to send to a grandparent or grandfriend you know). 

*Mr. Nature and The Tucson Prunes will be helping us celebrate! 

* We will have a GRAND hug countdown and some sweet treats to wish all grandparents a very Happy Grandparents Day!
