Our Cupcake Run: the Sweetest 5k In Tucson was an idea that started many, many years ago. While there are so many themed runs of all kinds, we thought about how we could make something active into a fun and inclusive event for people of all ages and skill levels.

At Himaya, one of our core missions is to build meaningful connections. Through our high teas, weddings, birthday parties, and cultural nights, we want Himaya to be a place to foster new relationships, reconnect with old friends, or have a fun, unique experience that you simply can’t get behind a screen. The Cupcake Run is another fun way to build up our community and add joy and fun to our lives!

Join our Cupcake Run at Himaya Garden—a fun, 5K race infused with a playful cupcake theme that brings together Tucson’s vibrant running community and our signature Filipino warmth. Dash through the scenic Himaya Grounds and cap off your race with swag and a DIY cupcake decorating session. It's a perfect blend of fitness, flavor, and festive vibes! You can be a professional runner looking for a new and fun way to train, or just someone looking for a family friendly activity to get some movement in and have a delicious treat at the end!
