Their sound is complex and fervent, vacillating between Dark Country rock songs, bittersweet honeyed ballads, traditional Country riffs; all of which is enhanced by Butcher’s clever, often heartbreaking lyrics. 

Completing the experience is Robin Messing’s uncompromising and defibrillator-worthy backup vocals add harmonies with depth and beauty reminiscent of Arizona's desert canyons; Southern Arizona's funk guitarist, Doug "Hurricane" Floyd" whose thundering talent adds radiant color and complexity as he shares solos and guitar harmonies with Damon; and John "The Monkey" McIntyre with a creative and nuanced style that expertly responds to Joshua's music direction. 

This is serious music by not-so-serious musicians.
