Join AIA Southern Arizona Committee on the Environment (COTE) on November 13 at Originate in Tucson for a presentation with Alex Sexsmith, AIA, Chair of the AIA Southern Arizona COTE committee.
The Farm-to-Frame Initiative examines the interconnected goals of Regenerative Agriculture and Regenerative Architecture, with a focus on health, carbon sequestration, and ecosystem restoration. We’ll review carbon sequestration strategies through the use of rapidly renewable materials and efforts to strengthen local supply chains. The session will also discuss the impact of non-toxic materials on indoor air quality and community health, highlighting the vital link between material choices and human well-being.
