He played college football at the University of Georgia from 1998 to 2002, where he was a four-year starter, earned All-Academic honors, was named to the AFCA Good Works Team, earned Walter Camp All-American recognition, was a two-time All-SEC selection, and received a National Football Foundation scholarship in 2002.Jon was inducted into the University of Georgia’s Circle of Honor in 2012.
