At the Grief Café, you can expect:

Comforting Atmosphere: Enjoy refreshments in a cozy setting designed to foster comfort and connection.

This event is open to all, regardless of background or faith. Come as you are, and allow us to walk alongside you on this journey of healing. Please RSVP if you plan to attend.

When: Thursday, May 15 (6:00-8:00pm)
*You are not required to stay the whole time. 
Where: St. John's Parish House, 100 Underhill St. Yonkers, NY 10710
Cost: Free (donations welcome)

About your host: I am Jessie. 
I am: a writer that is currently focusing on the topic of grief, an end-of-life doula, a hospice volunteer, someone who has much experience with loss, a mother of two amazing kids, and a widow.
I am NOT: a social worker, therapist, or counselor. I will not be providing advice or mental health counseling. 

While this event is not religious or faith-based in nature, there will be an Episcopal priest present, Rev. Stephen Trever. He will be attending as a guest and a friend. He will not offer any pastoral care unless requested. 

This is an inclusive space. Individuals of all ages, races, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, and cultural backgrounds are welcome. Our space is wheelchair accessible.
