Horse Lovers who Lunch! Join us to connect with fellow horse lovers and learn from local experts. Mark your calendar for the 3rd Tuesday of every Month.

This month we welcome Natalie Lane of Journeys Landing Farm

Natalie's approach to horsemanship is grounded in over 50 years of experience and a deep understanding of the horse-human connection.

Natalie’s journey with horses began early and evolved into a successful career as both a competitor and trainer. At just 16, she earned a place on the United States Modern Pentathlon Team, going on to represent the U.S. in national and international competition. That foundation shaped her ability to read, respond to, and partner with horses under pressure, something she now brings into every interaction with both horse and rider.

Her training philosophy is rooted in natural horsemanship and decades of hands-on experience across disciplines including eventing, dressage, and fox hunting. Natalie focuses on helping riders better understand what their horse is communicating, and how to respond in a way that builds trust, clarity, and willingness.

In this session, Natalie will share how to:
Move beyond frustration and resistance
Build a more responsive, connected partnership
Develop feel, timing, and awareness in your riding
Help your horse become a willing partner, not a pressured one

Whether you’re navigating challenges or simply want to deepen your connection with your horse, this session will give you practical insights you can apply immediately.
Natalie continues to stay active in the local horse community and is passionate about helping riders at all levels build stronger, more confident relationships with their horses.

The goal of our lunch and learn series is to connect this amazing WNC equestrian community, support local practitioners in getting the word out about their great services and support a great cause.  $5 from each ticket sold will be donated to support PEER - Polk Equine Emergency Rescue.  We all share a passion for happy, healthy horses and we're lining up a fabulous group of experts to share their knowledge to help us achieve our equestrian goals...whatever those may be!  The topics and format will vary to include speakers and hands on activities

And as with every lunch and learn, food is a highlight!  We have an excellent caterer lined up to bring us a fresh and fabulous meal each month that will not disappoint!   

If you're a passionate horse lover who loves to learn and is interested in being part of a fun, no drama community this is for you! 

$55/session includes fabulous meal and learning experience.
