This event welcomes everyone, researchers, divers, snorkelers, fishermen and intrigued dry land dwellers to hear about the encounters we’ve had in our local waters with octopus, about their biology, and trends we have seen in our seas.
We invite people to bring along an Octopus Themed Bake! It’s a chance to get creative with cookies and cakes which we will tuck into in the short break. These will help raise funds for Cornwall Wildlife Trust | Ocean Emergency Fund and the marine team’s diverse work including the delivery of Seasearch in Cornwall.
The evening is a chance to come together and celebrate our shared passion for Octopus and the incredible marine environment in the South West which support them.
Bakers please bring a label to display with your bake including: Title of the bake , Baker’s name, Flavours and Allergy and content info.
For booking and baking enquiries, contact: chloe.james@cornwallwildlifetrust.org.uk include subject “World Octopus Day”
