- **Event Description**: TRURO BEER FESTIVAL 2022It is with great pleasure to announce that we will be hosting Truro's Festive Beer and Cider Festival at Elseafood between Friday 2nd December and Sunday 4th December.All weekend expect to find an excellent selection of beers and ciders from both local breweries and some from further afield. We will also have some festive beers and ciders as well a full bar stocked with wines prosecco gin rum soft drinks and coffee.There will also be hot food for you to enjoy and help soak up the beer! And to help create the perfect festival atmosphere there will be recorded music played during the day and live music on Friday and Saturday evenings.Make this your special festive event visit with friends family work colleagues or your partner and explore the world of real ale. A great weekend to visit Truro as there is also a Big Christmas Market on Lemon Quay the same weekend.There will be two sessions on Friday and Saturday; 11:30 – 17:00 and 18:00 – 23:30 hrs.On Sunday there will be one session: 11.30- 17.00 hrs.Day time admission is free of charge. Beer and cider will be available to purchase using beer tokens. Each page of tokens are for the value of £5. Any remaining balance on tokens returned at the end of the event will be donated to Truro Food Bank.Evenings admission charge is £5 to include Live Music. Music will feature local bands and artists performing their own songs as well as some classic hits. Friday night will have a lively and upbeat Celtic/ folk vibe with 'Whippletree' followed by eclectic folk rock band 'Jonah's Lift'.Saturday night will be 50s and 60s rock 'n' roll with Off the Lights followed by modern day rock and pop party music with 'The Unfortunate Ones'.The Beer Fest will be wrapped up on Sunday with Cornish Sea Shanties from Aggie Boys Choir. Free entry on Sunday.
