- **Event Description**: We are especially pleased to welcome back FIGUREHEAD on Friday 14th November and have also asked Sid and Tim, RIVER BLUE to do a longer set for us .

The wonderful ladies of Figurehead share a love of traditional songs of the sea and shorelines. Their home is North Cornwall and they sing shanties, acapella style and have a mutual love of the maritime. If it contains a reference to water its fair game.

Originally Figurehead formed as a bit of fun around a kitchen table by five ladies, currently the members are Cath, Rachel, Sharon and Gill. As well as singing at local events they can be seen performing at a wide variety of shanty events and festivals around the South West. With foot stomping songs, love of the sea they continue to entertained audiences.

River Blue are extremely popular locally and always keen to support a good cause. With some passion and swing, Sid and Tim will give us some songs to dream of cats, ships and Bob Dylan, plus their own pinch of sea salt.
