- **Event Description**: This is a two meat KCBS sanctioned bbq competition. It is designed for backyard teams and new competitors just getting into the fun of BBQ. Show off yours skills cooking the categories: chicken and pork ribs. 
This is a wood fired barbecue competition which includes the use of wood pellet grills, charcoal kamado/kettle style or stick wood offsets and drums. (If you have a question on your type of grill please reach out.) if you are using a pellet grill and do not have a generator, on the registration form there is an option to purchase the rental of power during your cook.

Awards are 1st-3rd place in each category and include either a trophy or medal.
Prize Purse: $1,500 (this is broken down between each category 1st-3rd)

Registration Fee: $ 100
