About this group:
The Basement Club started with a few guitarists singing and playing guitars in the basement of the Trumansburg Conservatory of Fine Arts. Fast forward a few years, and the Club now meets every first Tuesday of the month from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Ulysses Philomathic Library. Musicians come with an original or cover song, or a half-baked idea, and they play it. Then we talk about it and offer optional (kind) feedback. Welcoming all Tburg-area songwriters and song-performers, the Basement Club exists to encourage musicians to continue writing songs and to power through the creative obstacles that all of us endure.
