Welcome to the Troy Running League (TRL). Inspired by Jamil Coury’s "Burrito League" and adapted for the streets of Troy, NY, we’re moving away from traditional races and focusing on community, consistency, and urban grit.
We don't care about your pace. We care that you showed up.
THE MARCH PROOF OF CONCEPT:
Our first-ever month of TRL kicks off at our March Anchor: Mean Max Brew Works on River Street.
� THE KICKOFF: Saturday, March 1st
� 11:00 AM: Meet on River Street near Mean Max to log our first segments together.
� 12:00 PM: Post-run social at Mean Max to meet the crew and the community.
HOW TO JOIN:
� Join our Strava Club (Link in bio).
� Run the River Street Mean Max Segment as often as you want (March 1–30).
� Don’t pause your watch. Let the clock run—it’s about presence, not PRs.
� Self-report your activity at www.runtroy.com.
THE REWARDS:
We’re highlighting the Everydayers (Consistency) and the Volume leaders (Total Segments). Plus, the Mean Max staff will hand-select the winner of the Spirit Award for the runner bringing the best energy to the block. �
